Irregular Verbs All irregular verbs have the same endings as above. Only the stem is different.

When do you use the Future Tense?
A - To indicate future time, as in English. La semana próxima volaré a Londres. Next week I will fly to London.
El martes iré al ayuntamiento. On Tuesday I'll go to the town hall.
B - To indicate probability in the present time, as in English. Dónde estará el gato? Where will the cat be? (i.e. Where do you think the cat will be?)
Qué hora es? Serán las nuevo What time is it? It'll be 9. (i.e. It'll probably be about 9)
When do you NOT use the Future Tense?
A - Spanish uses the present tense for near future actions: Lo hago en dos minutos. I'll do it in a couple of minutes.
B - Use ir + infinitive for immediate future Paulo dice que va a haber un partido de fútbol mañana. Paulo says that there's going to be a football match tomorrow
